I've recently had an epiphany. I
came across a movie so awesome that I had to devote
a whole two-part episode to its awesomeness. And since this is a blog
about skateparks,
I went to a park that is amazingly just as awesome as the most
over-looked gem of the
2003 awards season. I proudly present Everything
I
Needed to Know about Skateboarding I Learned from Grind
from Valley Skatepark in Burbank, CA.
We got a cool shout out today
from Mike Vallely's website in the "Mike
V is Everywhere" blog.
Blazing Arizona: OMA BBQ 09
12.03.2009
It seems the Skatepark Blog
is really picking up some steam. We were invited to attend
the 4th annual OMA BBQ out in Arizona. Apparently we have a ton of fans
out there.
Chris was really excited for the road trip. Right on!
This episode is so chock full of awesome that we needed to break it
into two parts, lest
you become overwhelmed. Go here for part 2.
P-Rod Park: Why We Can't Have Nice
Things
09.28.2009
I'm a big fan of arts education.
So you can imagine how pleased I was to see such a
beautiful blank canvas for kids who'd otherwise have nowhere to safely
write their
names.
I hear some of them skate there too on occasion. Chris sure likes it.
Figures.
